Grosvenor Park United Affirming Ministry Celebration, May 10, 2009

A few hundred people attended the Affirming Ministry Celebration at Grosvenor Park United Church in Saskatoon. The ceremony was heartwarming and uplifting to all who attended, as the love and way of Christ for all including GLBTT people was celebrated in worship, presentations, and song. The movement toward just and loving churches continues to grow.

The banner "Diverse Yet One in Christ" and a rainbow sail adorned the church.

Thank you, Tom and Rose Rogers, for this warm and wonderful record of this coming-of-age milestone in the life of Grosvenor Park United Church. No doubt but it will be an inspiration to many in Saskatoon.
